Remember Gong Yoo’s Child In Train To Busan? Here’s What She Looks Like Now!

Hit Netflix series “Squid Game” has been trending for the past few weeks. But, it’s not the first time that a product of Korean media and entertainment has taken over the world.

In 2016, zombie film “Train to Busan” graced the cinemas starring award-winning actor Gong Yoo, Korean-American actor Ma Dong-seok, 56th Grand Bell Awards’ Best Actress winner Jung Yu-Mi, former WonderGirls member Ahn So Hee, child actress Kim Su-an as well as Choi Woo-shik, who was also a part of the movie Parasite, which won at Cannes and Academy Awards for Best Picture.

Simply said, the film’s casts were filled with talented actors and actress. But, what most people are curious about is Su-an, the kid who played Gong Yoo’s child. Where is she now?

Five years later, Su-an remains active in the showbiz industry. She is actually a part of Blossom Entertainment, a company which houses top actors Park Bo Gum and Cha Tae-hyun. And she has grown into such a fine young lady!

Born January 27, 2006, Su-an started acting when she was only five years old. Her debut was in a film “Sorry, Thanks”. Afterwards, she became in-demand as a child actress for various films, both independent and mainstream like “Sprout”, “Mad Sad Bad” and “Coin Locker”.

However, what really skyrocketed her career was the film Train To Busan. It was a box-office hit in Korea, breaking the audience record of over 10 million moviegoers!

It even became the highest-grossing Korean movie in Malaysia, Hong Kong as well as here in Singapore.

Since then, she landed roles for another action film “The Battleship Island” alongside So Ji-sub and Song Joong-ki, and fantasy-action movie “Along With The Gods: The Two Worlds”.

Su-an is not a stranger when it comes to receiving recognition too. In 2017, she won the Special Acting Award at The Seoul Awards, Popular Star Award at the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards and 6th Korea Film Actors Association Awards.

Additionally, she won Best Supporting Actress at the 26th Buil Film Awards.

She’s only been in the industry for ten years, but Su-an has definitely proved how talented she is in acting. We can’t wait to see what other projects she has in store for her fans in the future!
