Is “try new things” a part of your 2022 New Year’s resolution list? Well, even if it isn’t, it’s always a good idea to do something you’ve never done before. You can visit a place you’ve never been to or maybe learn a new skill, like pottery.

We know what you’re thinking. Pottery is hard to do and you’d rather just chill in a café. Well, what if we told you that it’s possible to do both?

Yes, that’s right! At “Am I Addicted”, you can enjoy learning how to make crafts while drinking coffee.

Located at 13 Stamford Rd, B2-51/52/53, the place is a 10,000 square feet studio and café. Established by so-called creators, Am I Addicted aims to create an environment that is different among other establishments.

It is not just a studio, but a community dedicated for those who have a passion for creating!

As of now, they offer two classes. For $50, you can avail the trial class – which is a recommended course for those trying pottery for the first time. You can make 1 to 2 pieces in an hour, but firing and glazing is not included in this package.

If you want a longer experience, you can opt for the standard class worth $80, where you can choose between a Wheel Throwing class and Hand Building class. Firing and glazing is including in this package.

On the other hand, they also have freestyle studio usage packages, which start at $20, and advanced classes packages, which includes 5 sessions starting at $743.

Once you’re done with your pottery lessons, you can then head to their café where you can taste a range of Korean-inspired vegetarian dishes!

Their plant-based meals are also incorporated with a western flavour making the dishes unique with a punchy taste. All of the foods are made using guilt-free and vegan ingredients by an in-house chef.

Our lovely BFFs from ABCKorea decided to head down at Stamford Road to have a taste!

Garbanzo Beetroot Salad

We rate this dish 4 out of 5 stars because although it is a healthy and clean dish, it is still flavourful. The beetroot paste was also well blended and paired nicely with mix seeds.

Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich, Torta Di Riso Pasta & Antoinette’s Affair Lychee

Our most recommended dish is the Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich (5 out of 5 stars!) because it is made using vegan cheese. The bread is a combination of buttery soft and crispy~

If you can handle the heat, we suggest you order the Torta Di Riso Pasta. Despite it’s spicy taste, it’s still very delicious. It contains vegan squid and shrimp that does not have a weird texture and unpleasant.

Meanwhile, we’re rating the Antoinette’s Affair Lychee drink 3 out of 5 stars.

Strawberry Chung Ade

This refreshment is definitely 5 out of 5 stars - just look at the Instagrammable appearance! Taste wise, it has a rich milky flavour made with their home made Chung, a preserved puree using fresh fruits and sugar.
