Live Your Kpop Dreams

For most of us Kpop fans, our number one travel destination is undoubtedly South Korea. Once travel restrictions lift, I'm sure many of us will book the first flight out of Singapore and to Korea.

Spontaneity may always be great, but for die-hard Kpop fans, you might want to spend some time planning this long-awaited trip to Korea.

Might we suggest: playing the role of a Kpop idol (or trainee) for a day or two?

Visit Global K Center

This is where the Produce 101 series, and many other Kpop MVs were filmed. Although the place is now defunct, you can still walk around the area and take some cool photos! Do allocate more time for this day though, since it's far up north in Paju and you'll likely have to take a bus up there.

Rent some uniforms

Korean school uniforms have always caught the attention of international fans — they always seem so intricated and well-designed, it makes going to school feel more like going for a photoshoot. At NUGUNGA Korean School Uniform Rental Experience, our female friends are able to rent regular school uniforms, or top up a little extra for the uniforms worn by trainees in the first rendition of Produce 101! The place also has various sets for you to take pictures at, so prepare that camera (and charger)!

Learn a dance

One of the most iconic things about Kpop is their dance. Especially in the fourth generation, bands are often known for their sharp and synchronised dance moves, elaborate choreography and grand stages.

Learn a dance at dance studios like 1 Million, MOVE Dance Studio, or any others that may be more convenient in your itinerary.

Record a song

Imagine being a sound-proof room with a professional mic and headphones, singing your heart out to a track that you can keep after that! You can do all this and more at King Studio in Apgujeong, Seoul. Depending on the package selected, you may even have a professional vocal coach on-site to help you with your song! This activity is slightly on the pricier side, so do make a plan on how to save up for it.

Get a makeover

Before recording that dance or song cover, there's one important aspect needed: a makeover! Get styled by Korean stylists who have worked with top Korean bands at JENNY HOUSE, Heumm, and Bit and Boot before taking on your day!

We're all excited for the time to travel, so in the meantime, we can start by creating a killer itinerary and budgeting for our trip! Take care, stay safe, and we're hoping for a chance to wish you bon voyage soon!
