Kill Heel

Drama: You might think that hosting a home shopping show is all fun and easy, but Kill Heel will reveal that it’s not just about convincing viewers to buy items.

The series will star Kim Ha Neul as Woo Hyun, a home shopping program host who is extremely average. Due to her ratings that are neither good nor bad, it causes her to feel anxious all the time.

Meanwhile, Bae Ok Sun (portrayed by Kim Sung Ryoung) is the complete opposite of Woo Hyun. She is born in a high-class family, and is a top host of home shopping show who is respected by all.

The relationship of these presenters will even be more complicated with the addition of Kim Mo-Lan (portrayed by Lee Hye Young), the perfectionist vice president of the company they work at.

Work Later, Drink Now

Drama: Those who are already in the busy working stage of life and do not have time to find love will find these drama #relatable, as it features three single women who loves to drink every after work.

The trio are complete opposites; yet somehow their dynamic work, making the series more interesting.

The cast includes Lee Sun Bin as An So Hee who’s job is a broadcasting writer, Han Sun Hwa as Han Ji Yeon who is a yoga instructor and Jung Eun Ji as Kang Ji Gu, a Youtuber.

Work Now, Drink Later is based on a web series and is recently renewed for season 2.

Take Point

Movie: Take Point is a star-studded action film released in 2018. It includes veteran Ha Jung Woo who plays Ahab, a captain of an elite team of 12 soldiers. His squad is hired to infiltrate a secret underground bunker to kill someone.

However, the target is someone Ahab and his team did not expect, forcing a shoot out to ensue.

As the story progresses, the situation becomes even more complicated, leaving Ahab to make life and death decisions in order to save the lives of his members and other people.

The film also includes Lee Sun Kyun and international actors Jennifer Ehle and Kevin Durand.

Movie: Starring So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo as the main leads, this 2011 film is a tear-jerking romance story about a retired boxer and a blind telemarketer.

Ji Sub plays the character Cheol Min, who works part-time as a parking lot attendant. He then crosses paths with Hyo Joo as Jung Hwa, who mistakes him as the previous person who used to worked there.

Eventually, the two start to develop feelings for each other and even move in together. But the question is, will their relationship last? Or will their tied connection in the past be a hindrance?

Always is a box-office hit, inspiring a remake in Turkey, India and Japan.

Miracle: Letters To The President

Movie: This film is set in the 1980’s, located at the remote town of North Gyeongsang province.

Based on a true story, it follows the life of a family portrayed by Lee Sung Min as Jung Tae Yoon who works as an engineer, Park Jeong Min as Joon Kyeong, a high school prodigy and son of Tae Yoon, and Lee Soo Kyung as Bo Kyeong, Joon Kyeong’s sister.

Tae Yoon’s goal is for their area to have a train station. So, he diligently writes to the president for his request. However, he fails to get a response. Instead of giving up, he decides to build the train station on his own.

All That Pingpong

Variety show: Sports-enthusiasts, heads up! This newest program will be all about table tennis, featuring comedian and host Kang Ho Dong as well as idol and rapper Eun Ji Won.

All That Pingpong will have different celebrities play ping-pong in order to discover if the guests are actually hidden sports gems in the entertainment industry.

To make it more fun, they will also undergo rigorous trainings, battle with professional athletes and in the end, compete in the national athletic meet.

Unexpected Business 2

Variety show: tvN’s reality program hosted by Cha Tae-Hyun and Jo-In Sung is returning for a season 2 this February!

In the show, the two of them will be staying in a small, rural town as bosses of a grocery store for 10 days. As the actors are both raised in the city, having them experience the life in the countryside will be an exciting scene to watch.

Aside from working, they also have to blend into the neighbourhood and interact with various guests. This season, they will be graced with the appearances of Kim Woo Bin and Lee Kwang Soo.
