Craving For Korean Snacks? Here’s Where You Can Buy Them In Singapore!

Korean cuisine is very popular in Singapore. Be it a restaurant, café or bar, there are now a lot of establishments selling Korean food. And while most of them are accessible, there are days where we just don’t feel like going out of the house to eat despite the cravings.

On lazy days, instant foods and snacks will be a lifesaver! Regular groceries may have a limited stock of Korean goodies, but fortunately, there are now dedicated marts where you can purchase them.

Here are few stores we found:

Shine Korea

Shine Korea is probably one of the biggest Korean groceries in Singapore, with more than 10 branches all over the island. They sell different types of instant noodles by pack, seaweeds, snacks like chips and biscuits as well as sweets like pie, candies and chocolate!

You can also quench your thirst with some Korean beverages like flavoured milks, teas, juices and of course, alcohol.

If you want to try cooking some Korean dishes at home, there are also authentic condiments, sauces and seasonings available at the mart.

You can check out their website if you want to order online. They offer free delivery for purchases above $80.

HARINMART

HARINMART does not have a physical store in Singapore at the moment, but you can purchase their items online through their website. One of the key points of this shop is their wide choice of kimchi, the popular side dish in Korea.

You can buy the 500g if it’s your first time trying it, but there’s also a 1kg version if you like pairing it with your meal. There’s also white cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, yeulmu kimchi and young radish kimchi!

Aside from this 반찬 (ban-chan), HARINMART also sells frozen goods like seafood from pollack, squid and mackerel as well as meats like beef and pork.

Their shipping is priced at $3 for a minimum of $50 total spending.

Lee Mart

Lee Mart is a 2-in-1 store: a Korean grocery and a side-dish shop. It opened its first outlet at Chinatown Point, followed by branches at Hillion Mall, Suntec City Mall and Heartland Mall.

All of their items are directly imported from Korea. These include noodles, instant meals like tteokbokki and snacks! Their items are not only limited to foods, they also sell living products like gimbap maker, zip bags, disposable gloves and even heating pouches.

If none of their stores are close to you, you can make your purchase at their website. Free delivery is available for orders about $70.

KJF Mart

“KJF” which stands for “Korean, Japanese food” is an online Korean mart (they have no physical branch right now) selling authentic, premium groceries and snacks from Korea.

In the long run, they also aim to sell organic foods and drinks from Korea and Japan.

As of the moment, most of their products are from the brand Lotte ranging from drinks like fruit juices, canned items like beef, pork and luncheon meats as well as unique instant noodles like spaghetti and carbonara.

Besides their website, they can also be found at Shopee and Lazada.

Koryo Mart

Koryo Mart has more than five branches all over Singapore and also has an eCommerce website to provide convenience to its customers.

They sell a variety of products from Korea such as cooking essentials like kimchi jjigae sauce and yukgaejang (spicy beef) stew. There’s also chilli paste and soybean paste as well as seasoning powders – so if you want to try cooking Korean meals at home, this store is your go to!

For our moms out there, Koryo Mart also offers organic food for babies like rice crackers and grain snacks.

SOL Mart

SOL Mart arrived in Singapore back in 2002 and has now four branches located at Square 2, Bukit Timah, JEM and West Mall.

The grocery prides in selling fresh products, which is why their items are imported frequently. Perishable goods like fruits, vegetables and banana milk are air flown weekly while dry items; kimchi and tofu are delivered with two to four weeks interval.

Aside from food, SOL MART also offers health supplements like red ginseng for both adults and kids. You can also buy their products online.

CHOROK MARKET

Located at the heart of Orchard, CHOROK MARKET brings Singaporeans the best quality items and healthy products fresh from South Korea.

They sell not-so-common food products, which you can easily cook at an air fryer. For instance, they have cheese balls, red bean balls, mozzarella hotteok mandu (dumplings) and mozzarella fishcake corn dogs.

There are also ready-to-eat desserts in their store like ice creams, swiss rolls and dessert sandwiches! If you don’t want to travel all the way to the city, you can check out their items on their website.

Satisfy your cravings for Korean food and head over to these groceries now! Or, you can also do your shopping at the comfort of your own home~
