Halloween is just around the corner so you know what that means! It’s time for us to dress up in costumes! In Korea, the holiday is also widely celebrated by a lot of people.

Tourist attractions like Everland and Lotte World also revamp their parks according to the theme. Visitors can witness Halloween parades and take photos with “zombies”. Scary performances are also a must watch!

Our fave K-celebrities also like to join in the fun during this spooky season. In fact, SM Entertainment has an annual party where all of their artists dress up in creative outfits.

Now, if you want to show your love to the Korean culture this Halloween, here are some costumes to inspire you!

1. Squid Game Tracksuit and Overalls

Korean Netflix series “Squid Game” has become very popular all over the world ever since its release. So, it will not be surprising if we will be seeing a lot of costumes influenced by the show this year.

The outfit is very easy too! Hence, it’s recommended for those who don’t really want to exert so much effort or those looking for a last minute attire. For players, all you need is a green tracksuit.

And if you want to be the notable guards from the show, you can grab a red overall and wear a mask with circle, triangle or square drawing in it!

Its first season became the ninth highest-rated Korean drama in cable television history, which lead for the show to be renewed for second season.

For a Hospital Playlist-themed costume, all you need are blue scrubs. Bonus if you can also add a white coat and a stethoscope, for the total package!

3. Red Velvet’s Dumb Dumb Music Video Outfit

Are you and your girlfriends looking for a group costume? Well, look no further! This Pippi Longstocking inspired outfits from Red Velvet’s Dumb Dumb music video is the perfect ensemble for this Halloween.

Not a fan of elaborate costumes? Then this “Sand Box” shirts from Korean drama Start Up will suit your casual mood! Those who haven’t even seen the show might think you’re just wearing a regular tee.

This simple shirt that has a text in front that says “MENTOR” and the Sand Box company logo at the back was worn by Han Ji-Pyeong’s (played by Kim Seon-ho) character in the show, during an event.

It also has a “CEO” and “STAFF” version, which comes in blue and red.
