Korean Celebrities Who Have Their Own Fashion Line

Award shows, movie premieres, airport appearances and press conferences – these are just some of the events where fans get to witness their favourite K-celebrities express themselves through clothes.

Whether they show up in a suit and tie or long gowns for formal occasions, or in a simple lazy day outfit for casual schedules, we’ve all enjoyed their unique fashion taste.

Of course, there are several Korean personalities who stood out because of their amazing sense of style. And some of them have even turned their passion for fashion (see what we did there?), into a business!

Check out which brands made our list.

1. G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE

BIGBANG’s leader, rapper and singer G-Dragon founded PEACEMINUSONE in 2016. The brand focuses on selling contemporary street wear fashion and accessories.

It has a physical store in Dover Street Market located in Seoul as well as London. PEACEMINUSONE also collaborated with the company AMBUSH, which includes a collection of denim pieces.

A year after the brand was founded, the idol started arranging pop-up shops for his fashion line. It started in Korea, and expanded to Miami, Osaka and Hong Kong.

PEACEMINUSONE also have limited edition collaborations with fashion lifestyle magazine Vogue, and French high-fashion brand Colette.

Super Junior’s Lee Donghae is the co-owner of TEMPUS STUDIO, which was established in 2018. “Tempus” is a Latin word for time, which is what inspired the brand – to record the unstoppable time as photos. They aim to showcase their voice and identity through artworks and photos.

Established in 2019, STAYDIUM’s goal is to provide customers with style and comfort, so their products are designed in Los Angeles using fabrics of the finest kind.

The brand promotes positivity, motivation and dedication through hard work and hopes that those who wear their clothing shares the same vision.

5. Jackson Wang’s TEAM WANG Design

Outside being an idol, GOT7’s Jackson Wang has many skills including fencing, hosting variety shows and naturally, fashion design. He founded TEAM WANG design, a luxury street wear label.

For Jackson, fashion is not just about wearing the best brands. It’s about finding your own style and being confident. This philosophy is also embodied on TEAM WANG’s slogan “Know yourself, Make Your Own history”.

Breaking conventional thinking, TEAM WANG uses an invisible man to showcase their products instead of a model. The reason behind this move is because Jackson believes that their brand should not be represented and defined by a definitive image.
