Netflix’s Korean Dating Show “Single’s Inferno”: The Cast and Their Personalities

Whenever there are Korean idols and celebrities who are revealed to be in a relationship, it always makes huge headlines. In short, people love hearing about other people’s dating lives.

This is probably one of the reasons why the Netflix program “Single’s Inferno” has been trending for the past few weeks.

It is basically a show featuring single men and women. The premise is very simple. The participants are placed in a deserted island. The only way they can enjoy and relax is by becoming “couples” that will then experience date nights on a so-called Paradise.

The casts’ different characters and persona is what makes the show more interesting, we’ve grouped them into four categories:

These three individuals share the same passion for fitness.

An Ye Won (left, @yeah.w__), is a fitness trainer as well as a Pilates instructor. This healthy lifestyle of hers definitely contributed to her career as a model.  She also vlogs from time to time, where she post videos of her exercise routines.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong (centre, @__1126.1) is also a fitness trainer who participated in 2019’s Mr. International Korea. He won third place in the competition, and bagged second place at Mr. Model Worldwide at the same year.

Lastly, Kang So Yeon (right, @kangsoyeon__), is an actress and MC who actually owns a HITFIT boxing gym. On her Instagram, Soyeon is also seen playing other sports such as football, golf and tennis.

Her major is something that’s not usual too! Ji-yeon studies Biotechnology, surprising even the participants of the program.

If Ji-yeon can balance her studies and finding a boyfriend, so can you!

Seong Min Ji (top right, @im_min.vely), is another new member. Like Su Min, she is also a model. However, she has more experience as she had already modelled for make-up brands as well as department stores.
